About Us

Welcome to the Living Word Church website. I am so glad you have chosen to spend a few moments looking around and discovering our church family. We tend to use words like ‘community’ and ‘family.’ This is a central part to how we view our relationship with each other.

We are a Pentecostal church affilated to Assemblies of God (AOG) UK, and are a group of people committed to following Jesus. That means we worship Him with energy, enthusiasm and joy. It  means we are passionate about encouraging prayer both in church and throughout life. It means we love people outside the church through generosity, invitation, and compassion. We are not a large church (yet), but we more than make up for in size by the warmth that we seek to show to everyone who comes along - whether it's their first time or their hundredth!

Our hope and desire is that all people will feel loved and welcomed at Living Word Church, and once here, we pray that they will meet God.  But meeting God is just the beginning, we pray they will give their lives to Jesus Christ. We want that for you. Come as you are. Check us out, but more importantly, seek the truth of God that can only be known when one knows Jesus.

While you are browsing our website, you will learn about our activities and get a glimpse of who we are, but only a glimpse. Much like looking in through a window when there's a party taking place inside. To fully understand us, come to a worship service  and feel the up-close, in-person fellowship that comes when people share time together with the Holy Spirit present.
