We are running a mission to Bexhill from the 14th-18th September. See below for the posters on specific events and please tell your friends!
Our church in Eastwood road, Bexhill-on-Sea is excited to announce a short Outreach Mission called "Anchor of Hope" . The mission name is derived from the verse in the New Testament of the Bible
in the 6th chapter of the book of Hebrews "We have this hope as an anchor for the soul, sure and steadfast"
Much prayer and planning has gone into the 4 days of events which will run at the church from Thursday September 15th to Sunday the 18th. Thursday night at 7pm will be a Quiz Night, Friday
night at 7pm a Film Night, Saturday morning at 830am a Mens Breakfast, with the finale being a Music Concert on Saturday evening from 6:30pm, at which it is hoped musicians from Bexhill High School
and London will perform. At the Quiz night teams of 6 will be made up on the night. To the men who fancy a Full English breakfast then you can enjoy a great one the following morning! A short talk on
hope and the Christian faith will be shared at the events. A warm non-judgemental welcome awaits you. Do check the flyers for more event details. Look out for the yellow shirted church members
with the large Anchor logo on the back. Do say an encouraging 'hello' if you spot us out and about the town! The church will be open from 10am every day of the Outreach and visitors will be made very
welcome.
Our church motto for 2016 is "To know God, and make God known" and the Outreach fits this very well. The theme of 'Hope' is chosen deliberately, with the church recognising that many around feel they
have little or no hope.
